Aavara introduces new era of HDMI 1080p HD Video Over IP & Single Coax Distribution Technology

 London, UK – June 14th 2010.  Aavara ®, a leading brand in the AV industry and official HDMI and VESA adopter, has today announced that it has unveiled three world leading Pro-AV advance signage & residential home theatre HDMI distribution solutions; the PB5000 HDMI Over IP Multi-Casting, the PCE122 HDMI Over Single Coaxial Extender and the Super PM4X2A Home HDMI Media Matrix. All have been designed to suit commercial advance video rich signage demands for 1080p high quality video impact and are being presented as the perfect residential solution for those with multi-room distribution requirements.

 

The new PB5000 HDMI over IP delivers stunning Ultra High Quality 1080p HDMI Video broadcast over IP network.   Not only does it offer smooth vivid 1080p full motion video with CD quality level audio, but it also ensures that crystal crisp images and sharp small text clarity will give the viewer the maximum visual presenting impact and easy clear reading. Fully leveraging the mature inexpensive Gigabit Ethernet network switch in market, PB5000 also supports Multi-Casting and multiple video sources with PB5000 Senders video streaming to multiple TVs/Displays/Projectors with PB5000 Receiver. By controlling 802.1Q VLAN grouping setting on the network switch, customers are freely and instantly able to switch/change TV with the PB5000 receiver to receive different video source video streaming easily. Numbers of Multi-Casting groups will only be limited by the network switch support.
 

“The PB5000 will satisfy customers that want to efficiently distribute multiple HDMI sources with Ultra High Quality 1080p video,” said Nick Hsu, Director at Aavara.  “PB5000 also features World Leading Smart Detect Technology whilst a no need to configure/concern IP address setting with complex Dip Switch or firmware update.  Sender and Receiver can detect each other by both IP and MAC addresses automatically.  It’s straight forward to install and works by simply connecting the HDMI video source & Display to the Sender and linking all displays with a Receiver to a Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch which then removes all the hassle at the set-up stage.”

   

PCE122 HDMI over Single Coaxial Extender offering 120M HDMI 1080p video and 7.1 channel audio is also being introduced with the objective to, again, simplify installations.  Coaxial cable is very suitable for both in-door and out-door deploy, plus PCE122 ultra long distance ultra high video quality transmission makes PCE122 the perfect solution for signage and residential AV application. The PCE122 also boasts built-in 1 to 2 Coaxial Splitter in Sender and One Coaxial Cascade output in Receiver which brings greater flexibility as it supports up to 5 layers Cascadable across 600M 1080p video with 7.1 channel audio transmission, for 10 connected TVs, displays or projectors or more. The BNC connector design also ensures a solid coaxial cable connection for vibration and shock resisting.

 

Finally, the Super PM4X2A 4x2 Home HDMI Media Matrix will fulfill consumer demand for integrating home theatre projectors/TV or support multi-room high definition entertainment sharing.  “One HDMI output has been integrated with a CAT5e/6/7 extender which provides 70M 1080p lossless uncompressed video transmission,” Hsu added.  “This will save the customer a lot of expense as it immediately replaces the need for long HDMI cables.”

 

The low cost CAT5e/6 solution, for projector installation in living rooms, can also extend the video equipment to connected TV’s in other rooms so there is no need to buy duplicate equipment.  The customer can also select the video output of their choice from any of 4 HDMI input and full range IR Pass-Thru, to control video devices.  Built-in EDID memory with the Super PM4X2A will also work smoothly with the Windows 7 Media Center HTPC whilst other benefits include TOSLINK Optic S/PDIF output to ensure the best amplifier connection and a RS-232 control for PC or Home automation. Super PM4X2A, has been optimised to meet even the highest interior design details as the user can hide all the video devices in a cabinet, only showing a small IR receiver for control purposes.
